The Avante IMP205 Imperio Pro is a compact, fully active line array module designed for audio engineers and production teams who need scalable, steerable coverage without the bulk of traditional large-format arrays. Its onboard 440W RMS Class-D amplifier with PFC switching power supply eliminates the need for external amplification, streamlining system deployment for touring rigs, corporate events, and fixed installation in houses of worship or performing arts venues.
What separates the IMP205 from passive line array alternatives is its onboard 32-bit DSP with advanced FIR digital filter technology, which enables precise time-alignment and consistent frequency response across the array stack. Seven selectable splay angles at 0, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, and 12 degrees give system designers direct control over vertical coverage and beamforming behavior, allowing the system to be tuned for room shape and throw distance without additional outboard processing. Power linking at 120V or 208V supports configurations ranging from four units in high-demand scenarios up to 16 units at 208V in low-demand applications.
The IMP205 supports both flown configurations using compatible flybars and ground-stacked setups on subwoofers, giving production crews flexibility across venue types. Its ABS cabinet and powder-coated steel grille balance durability with manageable weight for fast deployment. Compatible accessories including flybars, pole mounts, ground stack bases, and a dedicated road case make the IMP205 a complete ecosystem for professional line array builds.
