The Imperio Pro IMP205 is a self-powered compact line array module engineered for production companies, touring engineers, and installed sound integrators who need high-output performance in a fast-deployment format. Each cabinet houses dual 5-inch neodymium low-mid transducers and six 1.75-inch IDVAT HF drivers — Avante's Inverted Dome Vertical Array Technology — delivering a true 2-way active closed design with a measured maximum SPL of 128dB per box. At 12.5 lbs per module, it ships and flies without the weight penalty of traditional line array systems.
The onboard 440W RMS Class-D amplifier with PFC switching power supply handles its own full-range reproduction, eliminating external amps and reducing rack infrastructure. A 32-bit DSP engine with advanced FIR digital filtering keeps transient response tight and phase-coherent across the array, while selectable input sensitivity gives engineers real-time level management without breaking signal flow. Power linking supports up to 16 modules at 208V in low-demand applications, making large array builds practical on minimal cabling.
Seven integrated splay angles — 0 through 12 degrees in 2-degree steps — allow precise vertical pattern shaping for venues ranging from shallow ballrooms to deep arenas. Cabinets configure as a flown array with sub on top or ground-stacked on compatible subwoofers, and the ecosystem of Avante flybar, pole, and road case accessories ensures the system scales cleanly from club installs to festival touring.
