The GTR-100 is built for guitarists who have moved their tone-shaping into digital modelers like the Axe-FX or Quad Cortex and need a power stage that stays completely transparent. Its Class A/B solid-state design delivers up to 100 watts per channel at 8 ohms, 140 watts per channel at 4 ohms, or 245 watts bridged mono at 8 ohms. Switchable Line and Instrument inputs accommodate both high-impedance stompboxes and the standard line-level outputs of a modeler, so impedance matching is handled without any additional gear in the chain.

For live production use cases, the GTR-100 covers considerable ground in a single 1U rack slot. Its stereo inputs and outputs preserve the full width of stereo modulation and delay effects on stage. The switchable 4-band EQ lets engineers and players dial in room correction on the fly without touching their modeler patch. XLR Thru outputs with optional per-channel analog cabinet simulation route a miked 4x12 emulation directly to a mixing desk or recording device, streamlining both front-of-house reinforcement and live recording workflows. Independent channel level controls and 14-segment input/output metering give precise visual feedback at any stage volume.

For touring and road-rack applications, the GTR-100 offers a practical alternative to tube power amps. At 17 pounds, it is a fraction of the weight of equivalent tube designs, and its metal handles extend beyond the control knob plane to protect the front panel during transport. A whisper-quiet cooling fan manages thermal load during extended sets, and the protect indicator gives advance warning of conditions that could damage the amp or connected speakers. Rear-mounted rack rails simplify cable routing inside a rolling rack.
