The Biamp TesiraLUX IDH-1 serves professional integrators installing networked conferencing rooms, lecture halls, and collaboration spaces requiring synchronized video distribution at resolutions through 4K60. Built for installations where analog matrix routing gives way to scalable IP-based media transport, this encoder operates as an AVB talker within Tesira ecosystems, consolidating audiovisual signals onto switched Ethernet backbones with deterministic timing.
Unlike standalone encoders requiring separate audio paths, the IDH-1 accepts eight channels of PCM from embedded sources while adding two mic/line analog inputs for local reinforcement or program mixing. Dynamic Delay EQ eliminates lip sync correction guesswork across long cable runs or multi-hop network paths. Software-controlled bandwidth throttling adapts stream quality to available infrastructure without hardware changes, supporting both 1Gb copper and 10Gb fiber media paths through dedicated ports.
TAA compliance allows specification on federal contracts.
