The BirdDog BDX1UBUNDLE-W is built for production teams that need a ready-to-deploy, multi-camera PTZ system without sourcing components separately. The bundle pairs three X1 Ultra 12x 4K PTZ cameras with the BirdDog KBD controller in a single package, covering capture and control in one purchase. The cameras output UHD at up to 2160p/30 over HDMI, USB-C UVC, or the network using NDI|HX2, NDI|HX3, SRT, RTSP, or RTMP, giving integrators the flexibility to route video into virtually any modern production environment. PoE IEEE 802.3af and Wi-Fi IEEE 802.11ac support reduce cable runs in fixed installs and temporary setups alike. AI tracking, built-in NDI|HX decoding, E-Ink display, and Halo Tally are standard on the X1 Ultra, features that typically require stepping up to a higher price tier.
The KBD controller adds operational clarity to multi-camera environments. Its integrated screen displays up to four camera feeds simultaneously, and built-in tally integrates with switchers including TriCaster and vMix to show the live camera directly on the keyboard surface. Control extends across NDI, VISCA, ONVIF, RS-232, and RS-422 protocols, covering broadcast, AV-over-IP, and legacy serial workflows from a single operator position. The ergonomic design with tactile joystick feedback is suited for extended live event operation.
