The UltraStudio HD Mini lets you connect Thunderbolt 3 computers to any video equipment. Connect to the Thunderbolt 3 port for video and audio connections compatible with SD, HD, Ultra HD, and 4K DCI formats up to 60 frames per second. Use the UltraStudio HD Mini to build high performance edit workstations, archive from old broadcast decks, output broadcast graphics, and live stream.

Connect and work with the equipment of your choice. SDI in and out, HDMI out, and balanced analog input provide high quality connections to just about any equipment you could want to work with. Video reference for sync playback to broadcast systems and RS-422 remote are included. The UltraStudio HD Mini can feed SDI fill and key from RGB graphics from your computer to a live production switcher for high quality live broadcast graphics keying.

With the UltraStudio HD Mini, you’re not locked into a single format. Popular compressed video formats and 10-bit uncompressed video are both supported. Images in uncompressed video are a perfect pixel-for-pixel clone of the source without any loss of quality.

Thunderbolt 3™ technology ensures the UltraStudio HD Mini is a power-driven solution. Low latency and highly accurate time synchronization provide the highest possible quality capture and playback. UltraStudio HD Mini uses a fast one cable connection to a computer with the bandwidth to easily handle high resolution video formats. Powered by the Thunderbolt connection, the UltraStudio HD Mini can run from a laptop battery without needing a power connection.

Designed for portability, the UltraStudio HD Mini can be a stand alone on a desktop, or rack mounted. Enjoy broadcast and digital cinema quality capture and playback in any workflow.
