The Blackmagic URSA Cine EVF is purpose-built for professional camera operators working on film sets, documentary productions, and handheld or dolly-based shoots. It pairs directly with Blackmagic URSA Cine and PYXIS 6K cameras via a single USB-C connection that carries video, power, and camera control simultaneously, eliminating the cable management overhead common with traditional EVF setups.
The OLED panel and four-element glass diopter deliver the color accuracy and sharpness that focus pullers and DPs depend on in high-stakes production environments. The eyepiece tilts vertically and extends for left or right eye use, while the included fully adjustable mounting kit and extension arm give operators the flexibility needed for dolly rigs and geared heads. Assignable VF buttons, a record button, exposure and zoom controls, and a built-in overlay display processor keep critical camera functions accessible without breaking eye contact with the viewfinder.
Metadata and camera settings are transmitted bidirectionally over USB-C to compatible Blackmagic cameras, supporting a tighter workflow between the EVF and the camera body. An LED tally light provides immediate on-set status awareness. For productions already invested in the Blackmagic ecosystem, the URSA Cine EVF integrates without compromise and without the adapters or signal converters required by third-party viewfinder solutions.
