The 6K sensor with generation 5 color science delivers 13 stops of dynamic range and dual native ISO settings of 400 and 3200, making it a practical tool for controlled studio environments and challenging low-light field conditions alike. The Fujinon LA16x8BRM-XB1A contributes an 8-128mm zoom range in a 2/3-inch B4 mount with an integrated focus and zoom servo unit, electronic back focus adjustment, and a macro function, directly complementing the camera's built-in electronic lens control and remote iris, focus, and zoom capability via SDI tally protocol.
For live production integrators, the URSA Broadcast G2 connects directly into ATEM switcher ecosystems using 12G-SDI multi-rate connections that carry embedded camera control, color correction commands, and tally without additional cabling infrastructure. Program return monitoring, a built-in timecode generator, and SMPTE fiber converter compatibility make this camera viable for large-scale multi-camera events as well as fixed studio installations. The interchangeable B4 mount can be swapped for PL, EF, or F mounts, and recording flexibility spans CFast 2.0, SD UHS-II, USB-C external media, and optional SSD via the URSA Mini Recorder, supporting ProRes, H.265, and 12-bit Blackmagic RAW. A full license of DaVinci Resolve Studio is included, closing the loop from capture through color and finishing without additional software investment.
