The Blackmagic 2110 IP Converter 4x12G PWR is built for broadcast engineers and systems integrators migrating SDI infrastructure to IP-based production workflows. Each of its four independent channels handles simultaneous bidirectional conversion between 12G-SDI and SMPTE-2110 IP over 10G Ethernet, supporting Ultra HD and 4K DCI formats without requiring external media converters or additional network switches for camera power.

The unit's PoE++ output capability is a practical differentiator for live production environments: all four 10G Ethernet ports can deliver high power simultaneously, allowing a full complement of Blackmagic Studio Camera 6K Pros to be connected, powered, and controlled from a single 1RU device. A dedicated 12G-SDI program return input feeds video back to all input channels, which simplifies confidence monitoring in complex multi-camera setups where return feeds are critical.

Dual internal AC power supplies provide full redundancy, making this converter suitable for broadcast trucks, permanent install control rooms, and live event production where downtime is not an option. The front panel LCD, speaker, and 12-button control panel allow local configuration without a connected laptop, while USB-C and NMOS IS-04/IS-05 support enable remote management and integration into modern IP orchestration systems. Support for Precision Time Protocol (PTP v2) ensures frame-accurate synchronization across the IP network.
