The Blackmagic 2110 IP Mini IP to HDMI is purpose-built for broadcast engineers and systems integrators who need to feed confidence monitors, large-screen displays, or computer monitors directly from a SMPTE-2110 IP network without a dedicated rack frame. Its compact chassis mounts behind a display, keeping installations clean in control rooms, production trucks, and on-set monitoring positions where cable management and space are critical constraints.

A single 10G RJ-45 port handles SMPTE ST-2110 IP video input, network configuration, and firmware updates over standard CAT-6 cabling, while PoE+ support means the unit can draw power directly from a managed switch — eliminating a separate DC run in tight installations. When a dedicated supply is required, an included 12V DC adapter covers that scenario as well. The USB-C 3.0 interface provides a direct configuration path from a Mac or Windows workstation running Blackmagic's software.

Full compliance with SMPTE ST2110-20, -21, -30, and -40 standards — plus NMOS IS-04 and IS-05 support for discovery and connection management — positions this converter as a production-grade endpoint within fully orchestrated IP facilities. Sixteen channels of embedded audio ride the ST-2110 IP stream through to the HDMI output, covering stereo and surround monitoring needs without additional audio breakout. Support for PTP v2 (IEEE 1588-2008) ensures frame-accurate sync within a precision-timed IP environment.
