Blackmagic Design BMD-CONVNVIPH/PRESC 2110 IP Presentation Converter

The Blackmagic Design BMD-CONVNVIPH/PRESC is built for speaker podiums in conference rooms, lecture halls, and live event stages where presenters need a single device to handle laptops, projectors, microphones, and PA systems without a separate rack of interface gear. The converter accepts HDMI and USB-C video inputs, outputs HDMI to a projector, and can switch the output between the local video input or a 2110 IP return feed from the network. USB-C carries both video and power, so a presenter's laptop charges through the same cable that delivers the presentation signal.

On the audio side, XLR mic inputs and XLR outputs connect directly to PA speakers, keeping the signal path clean without external DI boxes or adapters. The RJ-45 10G Ethernet port handles SMPTE ST-2110 IP video and can also power the entire unit via PoE, reducing cable clutter at the podium. The unit includes two standards converters, enabling format matching across the signal chain without additional hardware.

As part of Blackmagic Design's broader ST-2110 ecosystem, this converter supports PTP clocking and NMOS for integration with IP routers and control panels. For integrators building out IP broadcast or AV-over-IP infrastructure, it fits alongside 2110-compatible cameras, monitors, and other converters in the same network fabric.
