Where generic audio interfaces force engineers to patch together multiple boxes for analog, digital, and sync connectivity, the Fairlight Audio Interface consolidates all of that into one rackmount unit. It handles analog mic and instrument inputs with phantom power, high-headroom balanced line I/O, AES digital inputs and outputs, S/PDIF with onboard sample rate conversion, and full sync I/O including Tri-Sync, Black Burst, word clock, and AES/EBU. Dual RS-422 9-pin machine control ports enable direct deck control without a separate router, and GPI/GPO connections support cough and on-air tally workflows commonly required in broadcast environments.

The interface is compatible with macOS 10.15 Catalina or later and Windows 10 64-bit, and powers on automatically when the Fairlight Audio Accelerator is active.
