The Sonance PowerZone 252 is a 2-channel non-networked Class-D installation amplifier built for contractors and integrators who need reliable, high-performance audio power without the complexity of a network DSP platform. Each output channel can be independently configured for Lo-Z (4-16 ohm) or Hi-Z (70V/100V) loads, so a single chassis can drive both background music speakers and constant-voltage distribution lines from the same rack space.
Intelligent power-sharing technology distributes the amplifier's total available power proportionally between channels rather than splitting it in half, so output is delivered where program material actually demands it. A half-rack chassis paired with the optional rack-mount, surface, and rear-support brackets makes the 252 equally at home in a communications closet, under a counter, or behind a podium where a full 1U amp wouldn't fit.
