This rack-mount kit converts a half-rack Sonance PowerZone amplifier into a standard 19-inch rack-mountable unit, with hardware to mount either a single chassis or a pair of half-rack chassis side-by-side in a single rack space. The kit consists of two rack-ear brackets, one rack extension, and one connector plate, supplying everything needed to secure the amplifier to standard equipment racks used in audio, communications, and AV-over-IP deployments.

Sized specifically for the PowerZone series chassis, the brackets keep ventilation paths clear and align cleanly with adjacent rack equipment. Combine two half-rack amplifiers into one 1U row to maximize rack density in restaurants, retail, fitness, and houses of worship where rack space is at a premium.

Rack-mounting the amplifier is recommended for any fixed installation where vibration, transport, or facility maintenance access matter. Doubled-up half-rack chassis maximize rack density in the limited-space communications closets typical of restaurants, retail, and quick-service food installations.
