The Sonance Blaze Audio BL18S is a high-power passive subwoofer designed to complete the CBL constant-beamwidth loudspeaker system. Engineered to integrate seamlessly with the CBL523 and CBL528 cabinets, the BL18S delivers a full-range audio solution for small to medium-sized venues that need scalable, versatile low-frequency reinforcement.
An 18-inch bass driver housed in a reflex-loaded enclosure extends usable bandwidth down to 31 Hz at -10 dB, with maximum sound pressure levels reaching 136 dB at 1 meter. Multiple BL18S cabinets can be installed in stacked pairs and configured via amplifier presets to deliver either omnidirectional or cardioid directivity, giving installers the flexibility to manage low-frequency energy on stage or in the room. The black finish matches the CBL family for consistent visual treatment in fitness, sports, hospitality, and houses of worship.
Multiple stacked-pair configurations let the system designer tune the low-frequency directivity to the venue — cardioid arrays push energy forward and away from on-stage microphones, while omnidirectional arrays distribute bass more evenly across the room. Pair with PowerZone Connect 2U amplifiers for tuned, integrated low-end performance.
