The Blizzard Raven is a two-universe Art-Net and sACN node designed for lighting professionals who need reliable DMX and RDM control in both permanent installations and flexible production environments. It bridges hardwired network stability with Bluetooth convenience, letting technicians walk the floor during setup to assign addresses, configure channel modes, and test fixtures over RDM without returning to a console or laptop.
For installed systems, the Raven is particularly well suited. A single RJ45 ethernet cable carries both data and power when connected to a PoE-compatible router or injector, keeping cable runs clean and eliminating separate power supplies. Where PoE is unavailable, the included USB-C cable provides power from any standard USB source. DHCP and static IPv4 options give network administrators full control over addressing, while HTP and LTP merging of two network sources adds flexibility for multi-console rigs.
Users of Blizzard's At Full app can pair the Raven directly from the Configure page for wireless setup and control from anywhere in the room. The onboard data failsafe mode with scene recording keeps fixtures in a defined state if the network source is interrupted, a critical feature for installed venues and live production where an unexpected blackout is not acceptable. The included Universe Extender expands output to a second DMX/RDM universe, making the Raven a cost-effective solution for mid-scale installations and touring rigs alike.
