Bogen BDT30A Weatherproof Bi-Directional Horn Loudspeaker

The Bogen BDT30A gives integrators, facility technicians, and AV contractors a loudspeaker that covers areas on both sides of a single mounting point. Horn-type projection is a common choice for distributed sound systems in large commercial, industrial, and outdoor spaces, where clear speech coverage matters more than studio-style fidelity.

Choosing the right model is straightforward. Bogen offers several power capacities, and transformer models let installers fine-tune output at the speaker after it is hung, which saves return trips to the amplifier rack. Versions for distributed-line and 8-ohm direct-drive systems let one speaker style fit the amplifier design already specified for the job. That flexibility matters on retrofit work, where existing wiring often dictates the choice.

Mounting hardware is covered by Bogen accessories, including the BC1 beam clamp, HSES10 horn speaker mounting strap, and TCSPT1 terminal cover conduit. Listing these compatible parts together removes guesswork when building a bill of materials, so the speaker and hardware can ship in a single order.
