The Bogen LMM1S advanced input module is built for integrators and AV technicians who need to bring a mix of microphones and line-level sources into an installed sound system without adding a separate mixer for every zone. Eight inputs can each be sent to either of two buses, so a single module can handle paging mics, background music players, and program feeds that need to land in different places.

For commercial installs such as houses of worship, schools, conference rooms, restaurants, and retail spaces, the value is in flexibility at commissioning. Each source can be matched to the correct level type, and the separate AUX input gives you a place for an additional feed without giving up one of the main channels. Balanced signal handling suits facilities where equipment racks sit far from the microphone locations.

Compared with basic line mixers, the LMM1S adds onboard dynamics control and a way to monitor and verify signal on site. That lets a tech set up, check, and hand over a system with fewer extra boxes in the rack. Pluggable wiring also simplifies swaps and service calls long after the install is complete.
