Bogen NQ-SYSCTRL Nyquist System Controller With Priority Levels

The Bogen NQ-SYSCTRL is a Nyquist system controller for integrators and facility AV teams who need consistent control over how speech and paging audio behaves across a building. It suits commercial paging and speech reinforcement work, where background audio, live announcements, and other messages all compete for the same speakers.

Compared with fixed-setting paging interfaces, this controller gives the installer adjustment over input level, tonal balance, and gate behavior, so a source can be matched to the room instead of the other way around. Mute and ducking behavior can be tuned so announcements cut through without abruptly dropping program audio, and that audio returns smoothly afterward. Priority handling and bus assignment let one controller decide which sources take precedence and where they are sent, which reduces conflicts when several sources are active at once.

RCA connections make it straightforward to tie into common source equipment, and the SAX1R module provides stereo to mono summing for sources that need it. Commissioning technicians get a controller whose behavior is defined at setup rather than left to chance.
