- Integrated Amplification Removes The Need For An Outboard Power Amp
- Horn Speaker Format Suited To Voice Announcements And Paging
- Sits In A Three-Model Bogen Lineup With SAH15 And SAH30 Options
The Bogen SAH5 is a horn speaker with a built-in amplifier, made for crews and integrators who need voice reinforcement without building out an amp rack. Putting the driver and amplification in one self-contained unit simplifies the signal chain. That means fewer cables to run, fewer components to match, and fewer points of failure on site.
Horn-style speakers are a common choice when speech intelligibility and projection matter more than full-range music playback. That makes this model a practical fit for portable announcement setups, temporary event paging, outdoor gatherings, and facility support work where a quick, self-contained sound source is needed. Technicians can deploy one unit as a single point source or add more units as coverage requirements grow.
Buyers comparing options will find the SAH5 alongside the SAH15 and SAH30 in the Bogen SAH lineup. That lets a team standardize on one platform across venues while choosing the unit that suits each space. Confirm power, mounting, and output requirements against the manufacturer documentation before specifying.
