The Canon CN-E14-35mm T1.7 L S Flex Zoom is built for cinematographers and camera assistants working on high-end narrative, commercial, and documentary productions that demand optical consistency and operational reliability. Its constant T1.7 maximum aperture holds exposure throughout the zoom range, eliminating stop pulls during zooming. The lens is optimized for 8K capture on Super 35mm cinema cameras, and with the optional RL-F1 relay kit it converts to Full Frame coverage as the CN-E20-50mm T2.4 L F/FP, giving productions flexibility without acquiring a separate lens.

The Flex Zoom series was designed with matched physical geometry: the same front diameter, gear positions, and gear rotation angles as the CN-E31.5-95mm T1.7. This pairing allows follow focus operators and lens control systems to transition between lenses on a multi-camera set with no hardware changes. Industry-standard 0.8mm pitch gears on the focus, zoom, and iris rings are compatible with the full range of cinema lens control systems. Luminous metric and imperial markings remain legible in low-light shooting environments, reducing errors during run-and-gun or dark studio setups.

Available in EF and PL mounts to match the camera platform in use. The compact form factor fits standard lens support systems without demanding reconfiguration, and the relay unit is user-swappable in the field. Canon Cinema EOS Color Science is baked into the optical design, ensuring consistent color rendition across a mixed Canon cinema lens package.
