Supercharge the dance floor with the Chauvet DJ Helicopter Q6 light. True to its name, the Helicopter Q6 is continuously rotating, offering not only light but energizing light movements. Featured light patterns are adjustable RGBW beams, a round SMD strobe, and a red/green pattern laser.
The entire fixture runs in continuous pan operation, but the six individual light pods can also be moved independently. This allows you to angle the light pods differently, changing the distance of the light beams.
Bring the show you’ve envisioned to reality. Pods can shine red, green, blue, or white light in a narrow razor-sharp beam. Accentuate the light’s movement with the round SMD strobe to energize the crowd. The red/green pattern laser casts thousands of clean-cut beams over a large area.
Each of these effects can be called up manually or ruled by any of the Helicopter Q6’s automatic or sound-activated programs. Choose the program you like and essentially hit play – the Helicopter Q6 takes it from there.
Control the Helicopter Q6 your way, with options of automated and sound-activated programs, master/slave mode, DMX, or remotely using the IRC-6 remote (sold separately). A 3-pin XLR connector on the housing supports DMX operation and up to 16 DMX channels are available. The IRC-6 remote is a great option for control when you may not be able to stay right by the fixture all night.
Limit trip hazards and save time running cables when using multiple Helicopter Q6 fixtures by power linking them together. Up to 12 Helicopter Q6 lights can be power linked on 120 VAC (up to 23 on 230 VAC). Master/slave control mode is helpful in this setup to have one Helicopter Q6 control the actions of all the others.
