The Chauvet Pro COLORdash Batten H12X IP is built for lighting designers and production teams who need a single fixture to perform reliably whether it is hung above a broadcast stage, installed in an outdoor architectural rig, or used as a ground-based eye-candy batten at a live event. The aluminum die-cast housing and fully sealed Seetronic Powerkon IP65 power and data connections allow it to be deployed in temporary outdoor and wet conditions without compromise, while its GORE pressure-equalizing valve supports long-term environmental stability.
With twelve individually-controllable 10W RGBWAUV LEDs, the fixture covers a broad palette from subtle pastels to deeply saturated hues, and its even pixel pitch makes it purpose-built for seamless pixel-mapped looks when used in multiples across a batten array. The wide 24.9-degree beam and 40.7-degree field angle deliver even wash coverage across large surfaces without hotspots. For on-camera work, selectable PWM frequencies up to 25,000 Hz and four dimming curve modes eliminate flicker regardless of camera frame rate, meeting the technical demands of broadcast and virtual production environments.
Eight DMX personalities ranging from 6 to 59 channels give programmers precise control over pixel independence and color granularity, while RDM support allows remote addressing and configuration from the console without a local technician at the fixture. The password-protected OLED touchscreen simplifies onboard setup during load-in, and the included omega brackets with integrated floor trunions mean the fixture transitions from truss-hung to floor-standing without additional hardware.
