The optical system centers on a variable CMY color mixing system engineered for accurate reds, paired with a seven-position color wheel that includes CRI and CTB correction filters, a rotating gobo wheel with seven interchangeable slot-n-lock gobos, a nine-position static gobo wheel, a motorized five-facet prism, motorized iris, and motorized frost. A 65,000 Hz PWM rate makes this fixture camera-safe without sacrificing smooth 16-bit dimming performance across five selectable dim curves.

Production workflow features set the Force X Spot apart from comparable fixtures in its class: a battery-backed display allows menu access without main power, NFC enables fast multi-fixture configuration from a mobile device, three onboard presets streamline shop prep, and a USB port supports firmware updates in the field. Failsafe Ethernet pass-through keeps the data network live even if a fixture loses power — a critical reliability feature in dense touring and install rigs.
