The Maverick Silens 2X Profile is built for lighting designers and production teams who cannot tolerate fan noise — theatre LD's working intimate black-box stages, broadcast directors lighting news sets and virtual production volumes, and corporate AV integrators deploying fixtures in boardrooms or houses of worship where mechanical noise destroys the environment. Unlike competing high-output profiles that rely on active cooling and generate measurable SPL, this fixture eliminates all fan-generated noise through a fully convection-cooled thermal design, making every single motor movement — pan, tilt, zoom, iris — the only motion the audience perceives.
The optical system pairs a 760W CW LED source with a 94.8 CRI and 6317K color temperature, producing 12,748 lumens of output that holds up under the scrutiny of broadcast cameras and film. A four-blade framing shutter system with ±60° rotation gives the LD surgical control over beam edges, while dual gobo wheels — one rotating with indexing and slot-n-lock interchangeability, one static — plus a dedicated animation wheel and variable frost give the fixture the full effects vocabulary of a touring profile. The 5.5° to 58.5° motorized zoom range handles both tight specials and wide washes without a lens change.
Control flexibility covers every modern protocol: DMX, Art-Net, sACN, RDM, and CRMX, with four DMX personalities ranging from 32 to 42 channels. True 1 compatible power in and through allows daisy-chaining up to four units at 208–240V. The battery-backed auto-rotating display allows address and mode changes during load-in without powering up the main system — a practical advantage when working against tight changeover schedules in repertory theatre or multi-day broadcast builds.
