The Chauvet Pro onAir Panel 1 IP is built for cinematographers, broadcast lighting directors, and production designers who need a weatherproof, high-fidelity soft light that performs as well outdoors on a remote location shoot as it does in a controlled studio environment. Its IP65-rated aluminum alloy housing with a pressure-equalizing GORE valve makes it one of the few 1x1 panel fixtures genuinely suited to run in rain, dust, or extreme temperature conditions without compromising optical performance.

At the core of its value proposition is a full-spectrum LED engine delivering a CRI of 95, a CCT range of 2800 K to 8000 K with linear adjustment, plus/minus green correction, and emulated redshift — tools that give gaffers and DPs the precision color matching required for multi-camera broadcast environments or color-critical film work. The virtual color wheel eliminates the need for physical gel kits on location, while the 16-bit dimming curve ensures transitions read cleanly on camera without banding.

Where this fixture separates itself from comparable 1x1 panels is in its layered control architecture: Art-Net, sACN, wired DMX, CRMX wireless DMX, and RDM are all onboard, and a 28 VDC 3-pin XLR input allows operation from an external battery pack when AC power is unavailable. Selectable PWM settings from 600 Hz to 25,000 Hz eliminate on-camera flicker across any frame rate, and the fanless cooling system keeps operation silent enough for live audio capture. An integrated accessory slot and tool-free Jr Pin to Omega Bracket swap make rigging fast in time-sensitive production contexts.
