Where the onAir Panel 2 IP separates itself from comparable 1x2 soft panels is in the depth of its color science and control flexibility. A CRI of 95 combined with TM-30 compliance and plus/minus green adjustment ensures accurate skin tone reproduction under camera scrutiny, while the emulated red-shift mimics the warmth of tungsten sources for narrative film work. Selectable PWM frequencies up to 25,000 Hz eliminate rolling shutter artifacts across all common frame rates, and the virtually silent fan operation keeps ambient noise below broadcast thresholds.

Control options span DMX, RDM, Art-Net, sACN, and CRMX wireless, with 12 DMX personalities covering everything from single-channel dimmer control to full 32-channel pixel-level access. An optional 28 VDC input via 3-pin XLR allows battery pack operation for remote locations without AC infrastructure. The drop-in accessory slot accommodates optional diffusion filters, intensifiers, and honeycomb grids, and mounting switches between Jr Pin and Omega Bracket without tools, streamlining rig changes on tight production schedules.
