- Made In The USA For Projects That Require Domestic Sourcing
Visible glare is a common staging problem: a fixture placed low or at the edge of a set shows its bright source to anyone sitting on the wrong side. This accessory is angled on one side to hide that source from the viewer, while the other side leaves the beam unrestricted. It suits lighting designers, technical directors, and rental shops running City Theatrical ColorForce and Color Kinetics ColorBlast 6 fixtures in theatre, corporate events, and architectural installs.
Unlike a standard top hat, the half style only masks the side facing the audience, so beam coverage on the open side stays intact. It drops straight into the fixture holder, and the flange that seats it also keeps stray light from escaping around the edge. That makes it a clean fix during focus and a repeatable one across a rig, since every unit seats the same way. It also fits AC Lighting Color Force and Studio Force units. Choose black or white as the job requires.
Rental houses and production shops keep it on hand to resolve sightline complaints without swapping fixtures or repositioning a rig.
