City Theatrical ColorForce 12 Diffusion Frame | Black

Lighting designers, rental houses, and production electricians reach for these frames when a bare LED fixture throws too hard an edge. Placing diffusion material in front of the unit lets you tune the look on site without swapping gear, whether you are washing scenery, dressing a set, or lighting a space where fixtures sit in direct sightlines of the audience or camera. Designers keep control over wash quality, and crews avoid ad hoc fixes.

A purpose-made frame for the ColorForce and ColorBlast 12 form factor beats improvising a mount with tape and clips, and it keeps the look repeatable from fixture to fixture across touring racks, theater and venue installs, and rental stock.

Because the frame is sold in two finishes, you can pick the one that blends with the fixture housing or the surrounding scenery. Because the diffusion material is your choice, the same frame can serve a subtle softening pass or a heavier diffusion approach as the design demands. That flexibility is useful when one design calls for different looks across a rig.
