Sidelight booms in theaters, dance productions, and touring shows can carry dozens of fixtures and weigh hundreds of pounds, which leaves a tall, loaded pipe prone to sway. The Boom Tie Off gives riggers a dedicated anchor point at the top of the boom, so rope or steel cable can run to the building ceiling or grid and keep the assembly steady.

This is a safety accessory for lighting crews, production electricians, and venue technicians who set up sidelight positions on a regular basis. Rather than improvising a tie point with hardware never meant for the job, you get a purpose-built ring welded to a pipe coupling. That purpose-built design is what separates it from general-purpose rigging hardware when the goal is a stable, repeatable boom setup from load-in to strike.

Stock a few for rental inventory, road cases, or permanent dance and theater installs where sidelight booms stay in service night after night. Always follow your venue's rigging practices and verify load requirements for your specific setup.
