City Theatrical 135 Tee Head With Knob For Moving Light Hangers

Long-running productions on Broadway, in Las Vegas, at theme parks, and aboard cruise ships pull moving lights from the rig on a regular basis for repair and maintenance. When the replacement fixture does not land in exactly the same spot, someone has to climb back up and refocus it. That costs crew hours, stage time, and consistency in the look of the show.

The 135 is the fixture-side piece of the City Theatrical Moving Light Hanger line, an exclusive design from the manufacturer. It mounts to a moving light or a conventional fixture and works with the other hanger components in the family, which cover hanging from pipe, from Unistrut, or from scenery. Because the mating geometry locks in dead on and removes variation, the position of the light is the same after every swap.

Production electricians, rental shops, and install teams maintaining repeat-service rigs get a repeatable swap process that keeps focus work done once. For plots where fixtures rotate in and out over the life of a show, standardizing on a registered hanging system is a practical way to protect the design.
