City Theatrical 1505 Source Four LED Follow Spot Yoke Retrofit Kit

This kit is for lighting departments, rental shops, schools, and houses of worship that already own City Theatrical follow spot yokes for the original Source Four and are moving their inventory to LED. Rather than replacing each yoke, it converts a 1500 or 1501 to the 1502 or 1503 configuration for ETC Source Four LED Series 1 or 2 fixtures. City Theatrical lists the 1502 as also fitting ColorSource Spot and ColorSource Spot V.

The yoke platform was designed by City Theatrical for lighting designer Ken Posner for the Broadway production of Wicked and has since been used on hundreds of shows, tours, and installations. It is in use on many Broadway shows every day in side spot and truss positions, so converting stock you already trust keeps crews on familiar hardware with smooth pan and tilt action. Confirm fixture generation before ordering: this kit targets Series 1 or 2, while Series 3 fixtures use the dedicated 1504 yoke, which requires the XDLT barrel.

For production teams, the practical value is inventory control. A venue that standardized on City Theatrical yokes for conventional Source Four units can carry that investment into an LED upgrade, and a touring or rental stock can be reconfigured to match the fixtures on a given show rather than being locked to one generation.
