City Theatrical Gantom Barndoor | Gantom DMX FL

Wash fixtures throw a soft beam with a wide spread and no defined edge, and that light tends to land on scenery, backdrops, or stage areas where it is not wanted. City Theatrical barndoors let designers and electricians shape the beam at the fixture and cut it away from problem areas during focus.

This range is built for lighting designers, master electricians, and production crews working in theater, live events, touring shows, and installed venues who need precise beam shaping on Gantom fixtures. Because the family is offered for more than one Gantom fixture, buyers can match the barndoor to the luminaire on the truss or rail instead of adapting a generic frame.

Compared with taping flags or gaffing cards to a fixture, a purpose-made barndoor gives a cleaner, adjustable cutoff that can be tweaked at the next focus call and reset the same way each time. It is a practical add-on for rigs where spill onto set pieces or cyc edges eats into tech time. Crews carrying a mixed Gantom inventory can standardize on one beam control approach across the whole plot.
