City Theatrical 2300 6" Ellipsoidal Steel Color Frame

The 2300 is built for lighting designers, production electricians, and rental shops that run 6" ellipsoidal fixtures and need a reliable way to carry color media in front of the unit. For designers specifying color across a plot, it provides a predictable mounting point so gel cuts and magic sheet notes stay accurate from venue to venue.

In theater, touring, corporate events, and installed venues, color frames stay on the fixture through every focus call, load-in, and strike. A purpose-sized frame beats a makeshift holder because it positions media correctly, keeps replacement simple between productions, and gives crews one less variable to troubleshoot when a rig is hung on a tight schedule.

City Theatrical produces frames for many fixture types, so a rig that mixes instruments can often be standardized on a single supplier. Neighboring part numbers cover different openings, so confirm the fixture before ordering. Published dimensions for each size help when you are cutting media in advance, and rental houses and venue inventories benefit from a consistent frame family that stays easy to restock across seasons.
