City Theatrical 2319 MiniStrip Rectangular Opening Color Frame

Lighting designers, production electricians, and rental shops use this frame to carry gel or other color media in front of compact fixtures with a rectangular face. It suits theatrical stages, corporate events, touring racks, and architectural installs where color needs to be changed quickly and the media needs to sit squarely in front of the lamp.

City Theatrical builds color frames in a wide range of shapes and sizes to fit popular entertainment lighting fixtures, so a crew can standardize on one manufacturer across mixed inventories. That matters on shows that combine ellipsoidals, PARs, cyc units, and strip style fixtures, because frames from the same line keep shop prep and labeling consistent from one fixture type to the next.

When a fixture is not covered by the catalog, the manufacturer will build a custom frame, including for antique and obsolete units. That support keeps older inventory working and gives buyers a cleaner alternative to improvising with tape and cut gel. Confirm the opening size against your fixture before ordering.
