City Theatrical 2352 Inkie Mainframe Disposable Fiber Color Frame

Color frames add up fast. Multiply them across a touring package, a theatrical plot, or a corporate event, and the weight and replacement cost become real line items. The Inkie Mainframe is made for lighting departments, production electricians, and designers who want a frame they can use for a run and then dispose of without a second thought. Lower per-frame spend lets crews build complete color sets for every fixture without budgeting around reuse, and lighter frames mean less to carry through load-in and load-out.

Pair it with focused, hard edge fixtures for the most dependable results. Hot wash lights can dry the material and lead to cracking, so match the frame to the fixture and plan on swapping it out when a run ends. That tradeoff suits designers who prefer a throwaway frame for short runs over a permanent one that must be tracked and stored.

The Inkie is one size in a broader City Theatrical Mainframe range that runs up to 245mm formats, so a department can standardize on one frame style across a plot. Frames are lavender, though City Theatrical cannot guarantee the color supplied.
