City Theatrical 2358 Mini Strip 2 Hole Style Mainframe Color Frame

City Theatrical Mainframes are built for lighting designers, production electricians, and rental shops that need to get color into a rig without hauling heavy, expensive frames. Because they are disposable, a production can build out its entire gel inventory for a run and retire the frames at strike instead of sorting, repairing, and returning them.

The Mini Strip two hole style is the compact strip-format option in the Mainframe line. City Theatrical also makes the series in round, ellipsoidal, PAR, and metric sizes, so a shop can standardize on one frame supplier across mixed fixture inventories and keep per-show consumables predictable. Dimensions are documented per part number, which simplifies cut lists and gel ordering.

Match the frame to the fixture. The fiber material will not burn, but some hot wash lights can dry it out and cause cracking, so hard edge ellipsoidals such as Source Four deliver the best results. Frames ship lavender, and City Theatrical cannot guarantee the exact shade, so do not specify them where frame color matters on a plot or in a pull sheet. Check the lamp type before ordering in volume.
