- Disposable Fiberboard Construction Keeps Frame Weight And Cost Low Across A Full Production
- Flameproof Fiber Stock Will Not Burn When Exposed To Lamp Heat
- Single Heavy-Duty Staple Closure Secures The Frame In Seconds
- Wide Mainframe Size Range Lets Shops Standardize On One Frame Family
City Theatrical Mainframes are built for lighting departments that go through large quantities of color frames. The 2359 is the Mini Strip with a rectangular opening, a disposable format that lets an electrician frame gel for an entire production without carrying heavy metal or paying for frames that get thrown away after the run. The fiber stock is flameproof, and a single staple closes each frame in a matter of seconds.
Know the limits before you specify. Some hot wash lights will dry the fiber and cause it to crack, so this frame performs best in hard edge ellipsoidals such as the Source Four. For wash fixtures, check heat exposure first. The frames are supplied in lavender, though City Theatrical cannot guarantee the exact shade of any frame shipped.
Within the Mainframe line, the Mini Strip rectangular opening style sits alongside Inkie, Zip Strip, R40, PAR 64, and metric round sizes, so a shop can standardize on one frame family across its fixture inventory. Check the A and B dimensions in the specs against your gel cut before ordering.
