- Disposable Fiberboard Construction Keeps Frame Weight And Cost Low Across A Full Show
- Flameproof Fiber Material Adds Safety Around Hot Fixtures
- Single Heavy-Duty Staple Closure Seals The Frame In Seconds
- Wide Size Range In The Mainframe Line Covers Many Fixture Formats
Built for lighting designers, electricians, and production teams who go through color frames by the hundreds on theatrical, touring, and event rigs. Instead of managing reusable frames, a disposable fiber frame lets you load color for an entire production at very little cost, then discard it when the show closes.
The Zip Strip size is part of the City Theatrical Mainframe line, which spans a broad range of fixture formats from small units to large PAR and ellipsoidal sizes. That makes it easy to standardize on one frame supplier across a rig while matching each fixture's gate or holder. Check the listed dimensions against your fixture before ordering.
Match the frame to the job. The fiber material will not burn, but some hot wash lights can dry it out and cause cracking, so it performs best in hard edge ellipsoidals such as the Source Four. The frame is lavender, though City Theatrical cannot guarantee the exact shade supplied.
