City Theatrical 2362 R40 Mainframe Flameproof Fiber Color Frame

Mainframes are aimed at lighting departments, rental shops, and touring crews that burn through large quantities of color frames and want a low-cost option rather than frames to track, clean, and return. The R40 size sits in a lineup that runs from small instrument frames to large format units, so one supplier can cover a rig built from mixed fixtures.

Disposable construction suits short runs, corporate events, theatrical productions, and any load-in where color is cut fresh for each show. Because every frame in a production adds so little weight, shipping totes and road cases stay lighter, and the budget goes to color media instead of hardware.

Match the frame to the fixture before ordering in volume. Performance is best with hard edge ellipsoidals like Source Four. Some hot wash lights can dry the fiber and cause it to crack. Frames are supplied in lavender, and City Theatrical cannot guarantee the exact shade you receive. Verify the lamp type and fixture size on the plot so each order arrives usable.
