- Flameproof Fiberboard Construction Keeps Color Frames Safe Near Hot Fixtures
- Single Heavy-Duty Staple Closure Holds Color Securely On Every Frame
- Lightweight Build Reduces Freight Burden For Touring Color Packages
- Low Cost Per Frame Makes Fresh Color For Every Production Practical
- Matching Family Of Sizes Lets You Frame Color Across Mixed Fixture Types
The PAR 64 Mainframe is for lighting designers, production electricians, and rental shops that hang color on large PAR fixtures and need a frame that does not tie up budget or inventory. It is sized for Altman and L&E PAR 64 units, and a single-run frame keeps that line item small. It also removes the chore of tracking, cleaning, and reclaiming reusable frames after strike.
Fiber frames add very little to a road case or a shipping manifest, which matters for touring packages, one-off corporate events, and short-run theatre where color is cut fresh for every load-in. Frames can be assembled at the focus rail or in the shop, so late color changes do not slow the call.
Know the limits before you buy. Some hot wash fixtures can dry the fiber and cause it to crack, and the best results come from hard edge ellipsoidals such as Source Four. Frame color is lavender, though City Theatrical does not guarantee the shade supplied.
