- Flameproof Fiberboard Construction Adds Safety Near Hot Fixtures
- Lightweight Design Reduces Handling Load For Crews Moving Entire Plots
- Single Heavy-Duty Staple Closure Speeds Up Color Changes
- Low Cost Makes Disposable Use Practical On Every Production
- Offered In A Wide Range Of Sizes To Match Common Fixture Types
Built for lighting designers, electricians, and production crews who go through color on every load-in, this frame fits the 10° Source Four. Mainframes are treated as consumables. When a show closes, the frames go with the gel, so there is no inventory to track or repair.
Closing each frame takes seconds, so a crew can mount color for a full rig quickly and turn over a plot between productions with little labor. The material resists flame, which matters in theaters, studios, and event rigs where hot fixtures sit close to color media. Some hot wash lights will dry the material and cause cracking, so use these frames with Source Four style fixtures. That makes them a practical fit for touring productions, regional theater, university programs, and one-off corporate or broadcast shoots where color is cut fresh for each job.
Compared with reusable frames, a disposable fiber frame trims freight weight and per-show spend across a whole plot. Frames are lavender, though City Theatrical does not guarantee the color supplied.
