City Theatrical 2448 Short Top Hat For S4 10° And SL 10° Fixtures

Lighting designers, electricians, and venue crews reach for a top hat when a fixture sends light where it should not go. Stray output reaching house seating, a proscenium, or scenery is a frequent problem in theaters, studios, and corporate staging, particularly when optics are aging or lenses are not well maintained. This short top hat from City Theatrical fits the front of 10 degree Source Four and Strand SL instruments and addresses that spill at the source.

It also solves a sightline problem. Audience members and camera operators often find the bare, bright source of a fixture objectionable, and a top hat reduces the viewing angle to the lens so the glare stays out of view. Because the accessory stays with the instrument, it suits rental inventories, touring racks, and repertory plots where the same fixtures are re-hung and refocused repeatedly.

Specifiers who need something different can call City Theatrical about custom parts, finishes, and white versions, so one supplier can cover both standard and special requirements for the same fixture families.
