City Theatrical 2455 PAR 16 Top Hat For Spill Control

Built for lighting designers, electricians, and venue technicians who need tighter control over where a fixture's output lands. Poor fixture optics or poorly maintained lenses can push light into the audience or onto scenery, and a top hat corrects that without changing the instrument. It also helps in theatre, television, and corporate event work where a visible light source pulls attention away from the performance.

City Theatrical's standard top hats suit rigs where sightline management matters as much as beam shaping, such as front-of-house positions, shallow stages, and camera-facing setups. A purpose-built accessory gives a cleaner, more professional result than improvised flags or tape, and it stays with the fixture through load-in and strike. Specifiers working from a fixture schedule can order matching units across a plot to keep a consistent look from position to position.

Check the lens tube angle before ordering. Accessories are not recommended in wide 70° or 90° lens tubes because extreme light loss will occur, and 5" long accessories are not recommended in 50° lens tubes because light is lost.
