City Theatrical 2500 6 1/4" Barndoor For Wash Light Beam Control

Wash fixtures such as Source Four PARs, LED washes, and fresnels throw a soft beam with a wide spread and no defined edge. That works for blending color across a stage, but it also lands light on scenery, backdrops, and areas of the stage where it is not wanted. This barndoor gives lighting designers, electricians, and production crews a quick way to trim that spread right at the fixture.

Adjusting the leaves lets you carve off a top or side edge to keep a wash from hitting a cyc, a masking leg, or a set piece. It is a practical addition for theaters, houses of worship, corporate stages, and rental inventory, where a single accessory has to hold up through repeated focus calls, load-ins, and shop turnarounds. Because wear is addressed at the hardware level, a loosened door can be brought back into spec instead of retiring the unit.

Sizing matters with barndoors, so confirm the model against your fixture before ordering. This one is listed by City Theatrical for S4, SL, SH, and PC fixtures, which makes it a fit for shops that standardize on those families and want consistent beam control across a rig.
