City Theatrical 2505 Barndoor For Philips SL Nitro 510 Or 510C

Wash fixtures throw a soft, wide beam with no defined edge, and that spread tends to land on scenery, backdrops, and stage areas where it does not belong. This barndoor is made for lighting designers, stage electricians, and production teams who need to trim that spill without building custom flags or relying on improvised solutions.

It is dimensioned for the Nitro 510 and 510C fixtures from Philips. Adjusting the leaves lets you shutter the top, bottom, or sides of the beam to suit the plot, which makes it practical for theatre, touring, corporate events, and installed venues where fixtures hang tight to scenery or share a rig with other positions.

Compared with improvised flags, a purpose-built barndoor gives crews a repeatable way to set the beam and keep looks consistent from one focus session to the next. It is also a straightforward spec for integrators and rental houses that want shaping control matched to a specific fixture instead of a universal accessory.
