City Theatrical 2591 Half Top Hat For D-22 And ColorSource PAR Jr

Built for lighting designers, production electricians, and theater technicians who care about what the audience actually sees. A full top hat conceals the lamp but lights up its own interior, which pulls the eye straight back to the fixture. A half top hat rotated with its full side toward the viewer removes that bright interior, so the fixture effectively vanishes from the house sightline. Designers specify this approach to keep attention on the performers and the lit stage picture.

This model suits theater, dance, concert, and installed rigs where visible hardware is a distraction. It gives crews directional control over stray light without the bright hood glow of a standard top hat, and the orientation can be fine-tuned at focus. Compared with a full hood, the half design solves the sightline problem at the source.

Ordering options include all-white versions, available by adding a W to the catalog number, and a white exterior with black flocked interior. Call for pricing on the white-outside, black-inside option. Verify the listed dimensions against your fixture before ordering.
