City Theatrical Vari-Lite VL3000/VL3500 Beam Control Accessory | VL3000/VL3500 Spot, VL3000 Wash | Top Hat

Lighting designers and production electricians running Vari-Lite VL3000 and VL3500 moving lights know how quickly stray light becomes a problem on a tight rig. This City Theatrical range gives rental houses, touring crews, theaters, and venue technicians a purpose-built way to tame the output of those fixtures without improvising with gaffer tape or cut-down flag material. Use it in rental stock, touring racks, and house rigs where controlling spill matters.

City Theatrical positions its range as the most complete line of beam control accessories for Vari-Lite fixtures. Coverage includes both spot and wash fixtures in the VL3000 and VL3500 lines, so a shop with mixed inventory can source matching hardware from one manufacturer instead of piecing together generic options. Pieces are made from light gauge aluminum with a black powdercoat finish, which suits dark stages and repeated load-ins. Since each accessory is fixture-specific, buyers choose by exact fixture and the look being lit.

City Theatrical also develops new equipment alongside designers when a show calls for something outside the catalog.
