Lighting designers, production electricians, and rental shops running Martin MAC 2000 Wash fixtures use this top hat to tighten up how a moving wash behaves in the rig. Uncontrolled spill lights drapes, bounces off scenery, and lands on audience or camera positions. A purpose-built shield at the fixture is a faster and more repeatable fix than flagging individual cues with cards or tape.

This part is made for the wash version of the MAC 2000. The Performance and Profile versions are covered by a separate City Theatrical top hat, so confirm the fixture model before ordering quantities for a full rig. City Theatrical designs beam control accessories for 18 different Martin fixtures, which helps touring and install crews who carry a mixed Martin inventory and want accessories from one source.

City Theatrical also lists a MAC 2000 sound baffle, sold by the pair with one pair required per fixture. Check the full accessory range before finalizing a prep list so every fixture leaves the shop complete.
