City Theatrical 2793 Egg Crate Louver For Martin MAC Aura

Moving wash fixtures throw a lot of light in directions you do not want it. For lighting designers, production electricians, and rental shops running MAC Aura and MAC Aura XB units, this accessory is a straightforward way to keep that spill off scenery, trusses, video surfaces, and audience sightlines. The grid works as a louver at the front of the fixture, which makes it a practical choice when you need less stray light without repositioning the fixture.

City Theatrical designs and builds its beam control accessories at its New Jersey factory, and the company covers a wide range of Martin fixtures. That helps theaters and rental inventories standardize on one source across a mixed Martin rig. Within the Aura line, this louver sits alongside concentric ring and top hat options, so a designer can choose the tool that matches the look of the show. Because it is a passive accessory, there is nothing to power, patch, or program, which keeps it easy to add to a touring package or a permanent installation.
